The Kreuzeckbahn is a funicular with a valley station at 605  m above sea level. A. in Kolbnitz im Mölltal in Carinthia in Austria . It can be used by anyone for a fee and also serves as a feeder for hiking routes.

On the opposite side of the valley, the Reißeckbahn , another, larger funicular that was shut down in 2016, rose.

Both railways were used to transport material during the construction of the huge pressure pipelines of the Reißeck-Kreuzeck power plant group , which flow into the Kolbnitz power plant in the valley. The Kreuzeck line belongs to a day storage plant .

The more efficient “pendulum system” could be chosen for the Kreuzeckbahn due to the favorable terrain. There are two cars with an automatic turnout in the middle of the track. The route is 1,370 m long and has a height difference of 606 m. The incline of the route is between 29 and 75 percent. The mountain station of the Kreuzeckbahn is close to the Rosswiese reservoir at 1211  m above sea level. A.
