Cross costumes of the parish of Prien

The branch churches Greimharting , St. Salvator and Urschalling , which today belong to the parish, are located in the Prien parish . Traditional catchment areas have been preserved in addition to these that do not follow the municipal boundaries, but rather emerged from tradition and the supposedly better footpath situation when going to church.

These catchment areas are called " cross costume ", although there is no evidence of a corresponding procession tradition.

The north-west of the parish area belongs to the Greimharting cross costume , the St. Salvator cross costume to the west and the Urschalling cross costume to the south . The rest of the parish area belongs to the parish church itself.
