War memorial from the First World War
The 1914/1918 war memorial in Löcknitz am Löcknitzer See for the soldiers from Löcknitz who died in World War I is a listed building .
The war memorial is designed as a flat fenced, massive, square obelisk with the names and dates of death of all 79 soldiers from Löcknitz who died in the war. Above the name on each of the four sides of the obelisk there is an engraved iron cross in a wreath of oak leaves as well as the inscription on the front: You died for the fatherland.
