Hesepe war memorial
The 1929 war memorial of the municipality of Hesepe is located on the corner of Dorfstraße and Heseper Weg in the municipality of Hesepe , which existed until 1974 and is now part of Nordhorn .
history
The war memorial is a memorial for the dead of the First World War, inaugurated in 1929 . The monument was built from bricks as a tower-like block of wall on a square base. In 1954 the names of those who died in World War II were added.
The inscriptions read:
- “We sacrificed life when Germany was in need. Our heroes 1914–1918 - Hesepe parish ”
“ In memory of our dear fallen 1939–1945 - Hesepe parish ”
