description

It is a spacious green area surrounded by linden trees , in the middle of which there is a stone monument that commemorates the dead of the two world wars.

On the front, the monument shows an eagle spreading its wings over a nest with eagle chicks. Below are two stone memorial plaques with the names of those who died in the First World War. For the years 1914–1919 (sic!) The names of the fallen in the respective year are given. In 1989 Gustav Levy was added. There are five projections below the memorial plaques. From left to right these projections bear the years of the war years 1914–1918.

On the reverse, the monument shows a mother mourning her son. Behind her can be seen German soldiers attacking with hand grenades and rifles.

The stone monument is surrounded in a U-shape by a flowerbed in which there are stones with the names of the dead in the bombing raids of March 23, 1944 and March 26, 1945. A plaque commemorates the dead:

AND THE BOMBS
DAMAGED
OUR HOUSE
AND KILLED
MAN AND WIFE
CHILD AND GREAT
23 March 1944
26 March 1945

A metal bowl on a pedestal is located on the left side of the monument. Every year on March 23, a fire is to be lit in this metal bowl to commemorate the victims of the bombing.
