Crimean Jews

As Crimean Jews are called:

  • mostly the Crimean Chaks as a long-established Jewish minority of the Crimea,
  • rarely the Crimean and long-established Karaites of the Crimea, depending on the classification of the Karaites,
  • often also all Jewish residents of the Crimea, to whom many Ashkenazim also came in the 19th century
