The Fürth crime museum sheds light on 200 years of the city's criminal and police history. The visitors can get an idea of ​​the structure of the police and justice commission by Karl August von Hardenberg and of the police violence in the Kingdom of Bavaria. According to the municipal edict of 1818, Fürth became a first class town and was given authority over the police. The opening ceremony of the museum took place on September 22, 2010 in the conference room of the Fürth town hall and then in the museum rooms. The museum is located in a vaulted cellar of the Fürth town hall on Brandenburger Strasse on an area of ​​200 m².
