Krisztina Czakó [ ˈkristinɒ ˈʦɒkoː ] (born December 17, 1978 in Budapest , Hungary ) is a former Hungarian figure skater . Czakó's mother Klára was a speed skater , while her father and trainer György Czakó was a figure skater himself and a former Hungarian champion. György Czakó started training Krisztina before she was one year old. He made the skates for his daughter himself, as there weren't any in this small size.

Kristina Czakó was the youngest participant in the 1992 Winter Olympics when she was 13 years and 2 months. In 1994 and 1995 she took part in the Junior World Championships and finished second and third respectively. In her third Olympic Winter Games, she could not take part due to injury.

Kristina Czakó was considered a particularly athletic runner. After the short program, she was often in good positions that she could not hold after the freestyle. It was only late in her amateur career that she tried to pay special attention to artistic expression. This paid off in 1997. She ran her most popular program after the music The Addams Family and became Vice European Champion. This silver medal was the first for Hungary at the European Women's Figure Skating Championships since 1971.

After finishing her figure skating career, she worked as a preschool teacher in Budapest.
