Cryptographic key management system

A cryptographic key management system , or English Cryptographic Key Management System ( CK MS ) consists of procedures, services and devices that serve cryptographic key to create, manage, distribute and protect.

The CKMS includes all components of the system that process digital keys unencrypted. Systems that only use public keys or data carriers and networks that store or transmit the keys in encrypted form are not counted as part of the CKMS.
