Ball impact

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The bullet hit as a gunshot is the sound that occurs when the bullet fired from the hunting rifle hits the body of the game .

The bullet hit cannot always be heard. It can be covered by the crack of the gun and other noises (e.g. the gun mechanics). Even at short distances (less than 100 m), the bullet hit is usually imperceptible because the shooter's ears are "impressed" for a while by the bang. People standing to the side of the line of fire can hear the bullet hit better than the shooter himself.

The probable point of impact can be recognized by the quality of the impact of the ball: a clapping sound is produced when it is hit in flesh, a cracking sound suggests a bone hit. Where the bullet struck exactly (body region) is not recognizable from the sound.
