Heinrich Koenige

Heinrich Josef Jakob Koenige (also kings ; born February 13, 1852 in Heidelberg ; † February 2, 1935 ) was a German lawyer and president of the Senate at the Imperial Court .

Life

To participate as a volunteer in the Franco-German War , Koenige interrupted his school career at the Rastatt grammar school. After 1871 he studied law in Heidelberg and Freiburg. 1874 was the year he was sworn in to the sovereign of Baden. In 1879 he was appointed magistrate in Villingen. In May 1886, he was promoted to senior magistrate. In June 1886 he became a district judge in Mosbach . In 1889 he was appointed a councilor and Koenige became head of the state prison administration in Mannheim. In 1891 he was again a district judge in Mannheim and a year later he was chairman of the Chamber for Commercial Matters at the Mannheim district court . In 1899 he became a higher regional judge in Mannheim. He came to the Imperial Court in 1896. As a Reich judge he was in the II. And III. Civil Senate active. During the First World War he was called up for military service in 1914 and became the leader of two gun batteries. From August 1918 he was President of the Imperial Higher Court for Flanders in Brussels.

On July 1, 1919 he became President of the Senate of the VI. Civil Senate . He retired on November 4, 1923. After retiring from service in the Reich, he retired in Hinterzarten (Baden).

He was co-editor of the Leipzig magazine for German law .
