Kulaç (unit)

Kulaç was a Turkish measure of length and was also used as a measure of area.

  • 1 Kulaç = 2.5 Zirai Mimari / mimari arşın = 1.89 meters (length)
    • 1 Zirai Mimari = 24 pamak / parmah / inch (3.16 centimeters) = 75.77 centimeters
    • 1 Zirai Mimari = 24 pamak / parmah / inch (4.17 centimeters) = 100 centimeters (later changed to 1 meter)
  • 1 Kulaç = 3.591 square meters ( square measure)
