Culture guide

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A culture guide is usually a summary of information that is used for the successful cultivation of plants, their cultivation and use. In the laboratory, culture instructions are also given for animals ( Drosophila ), fungi ( Neurospora , yeasts ) or for microorganism cultures.

In a culture guide for plants, questions about planting time, location, care, flowering time and use are answered. On seed bags bought in retail stores or as label information for young plants, the cultivation instructions can often be found in the form of small pictograms that indicate, for example, the preferred location of the plant.
