Copper electrolyte

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Copper electrolytes are used for the electrolytic deposition of copper layers in electroplating . The deposited layers are very ductile and can be polished very well . The copper electrolytes used are mostly based on sulfuric acid or cyanide . Neutral electrolytes, in which the copper is bound in the form of complex compounds , have so far hardly spread, since the copper is very difficult to remove when treating the wastewater.
