The Kupferhof Bauschenberg , which was also called Buschenberg , was a former copper farm in the city of Stolberg, located in the Aachen region . He had a great influence on the economic development of Stolberg.

The Kupferhof got its name due to its location at the foot of a small hill, the Bauschenberg, which is part of the current Stolberg district of Büsbach . There is evidence that the copper master Gottfried Schardinel had his residence here in the second half of the 17th century. He was considered the richest copper master in Stolberg and at times had more than 20 active melting furnaces. Schardinel moved from Aachen to Stolberg in 1656 after the great fire. He was also the owner of the Schmidthof and part owner of the Dollart Hammer .

The neighboring Vichtbach was used as an energy source to drive the water wheels of the Kupferhof Bauschenberg ; the Galmeierz came from the Stolberg mining areas, especially from the sites on the Breinigerberg or the Diepenlinchen ore mine .

The Prym company emerged from the three farms of Dollartshammer, Bauschenberg and Straßburger Hof .
