Kurt Stache

Kurt Stache (born November 5, 1903 in Rietschen ; † in the 20th century ) was a German communist and resistance fighter against Nazi rule , a former prisoner in Buchenwald concentration camp and, after the establishment of the Buchenwald National Memorial (NMG), leader of Groups of visitors through the memorial.

Life dates

Stache joined the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) and was interned as a protective prisoner in the Buchenwald concentration camp with prisoner number 2281 during the Nazi regime from 1937 to 1945 .

After the liberation from Nazi rule in 1945, he led groups of visitors through the memorial that was established there.
