Kylie (Throwing Gun)

A Kylie is a throwing stick and one of the boomerangs . It is also known as the hunting boomerang or non-returning boomerang and was used by the Aborigines , the indigenous people of Australia , for hunting , but also for digging and as a hoe, as a drum instrument and as a toy. Archaeological finds prove the use of such thrown weapons in areas of America, Africa, Europe and Asia. The rabbit stick , for example, is known to the Indians of North America .
