Löfbergs AB (until 2012 Löfbergs Lila AB ) is a Swedish coffee roaster based in Karlstad . In addition to a roastery at the headquarters, Löfbergs has a branch in Viborg, Denmark . The company is one of the most important European importers of fair trade and organic coffee . Löfbergs also owns the trademark rights for the Kobbs tea brand .

The company was founded in 1906 by the brothers Josef, Anders and John Löfberg. After a short time, the Löfberg brothers had eleven different types of coffee on offer, the most popular of which with its purple-colored packaging gave the company its name.

With around 200 employees, Löfbergs is one of the largest coffee roasting companies in the Nordic countries . According to the company, annual sales are around SEK one billion . The company is still family-owned and is now in the third and fourth generation. Each pack of Löfbergs coffee has a personal message on the side with the signature of Marketing Manager Kathrine Löfberg, who belongs to the fourth generation of the owner family.

Löfbergs sponsors the Färjestad BK ice hockey team and the Löfbergs Arena stadium .
