LSE is the band of the Cologne musicians Rolf Lammers , Arno Steffen and Tommy Engel . The band name stands for the surname of the members.

The band was founded in 1992. After leaving as front man with the Bläck Fööss , Engel concentrated on LSE from 1994 onwards

In the year it was founded, the band was one of the initiators of the Arsch huh, Zäng ussenander movement against right-wing violence.

The band never officially split up; there are occasional appearances, u. a. In 2008 during the political demonstration "Cologne is standing across" and in 2014 at the Birligte memorial festival - Standing together in 2014 on the tenth anniversary of the nail bomb attack in Cologne .
