LO Smith memorial stone
The LO Smith memorial stone was unveiled on October 12, 2011 in Kiaby, Kristianstad (parish) , 175 years after the birth of Lars Olsson Smith . He was the founder of "Absolutely Pure Brine" (later " Absolut Vodka "). Mie Jernbeck, a grandson of LO Smith, unveiled the memorial stone at the inauguration ceremony with around 70 guests.
The self- standing stone made of Vångagranit shows the relief portrait of LO Smith, which can also be found on all Absolut Vodka bottles, including the inscription in Swedish:
