Laßraum , also Laasraum , Laßgut , Rodeland , Rodeacker , Waldgeraume or Forsthube is a historical name for a forest property inherited for reclamation, for whose use as arable or meadow land the Lasse had to pay lass interest.

Spaces were mostly created in the vicinity of settlements in wooded areas, in order to give new settlers opportunities for low agricultural use.

Field names and place names such as Laß, Laas or Láz are derived from this today.
