La Caume

The Deux Trous

La Caume is part of the Alpilles mountain range in the south of France . It is located in the commune of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and is part of the Alpilles Regional Nature Park .

Its centerpiece is the Plateau de la Caume . Its summit is at an altitude of 387 meters. There is a television antenna to the east of the plateau. The entire area is mainly overgrown with conifers. The predominant type of rock is limestone . La Caume is accessible to hikers via the GR6 hiking trail. Their destination is usually the striking rock formation Deux Trous .
