La Colita
La Colita / la co'lita / is a party dance that was created in 2005 and is danced to the Spanish-language song Mueve la colita by the music group Soca Boys . The name goes back to the colloquial refrain of the song, which is Mueve la colita, mamita rica, mueve la colita , in German something like "move your butt, crisp girl, move your butt". The dance, like the music, is a mixture of merengue and pop music . The individual dance steps correspond to the instructions given by the singer during the song and are sexually suggestive.
