The Laboratoire Atmosphères, Milieux, Observations Spatiales ( LATMOS ) is a French research laboratory for the study of the physical and chemical processes in the earth's atmosphere , the study of planets and small bodies (atmospheres, surfaces, subsurface) and the physics of the heliosphere , the exosphere of the Planets and plasmas in the solar system . The company employs 230 people, 150 of them permanent.
