Friesack camp

Friesack Camp was a POW camp of the Second World War , in which a group of up Irish the British army voluntarily recruitment and selection by the Abwehr reported and the German army. The camp designated as Stalag XX-A (301) was located in the Friesack region in Brandenburg . The training and selection by Abwehr II and the Wehrmacht took place from 1940 to 1943.

The camp was eventually dissolved and its participants were sent to the Eastern Front or interned in concentration camps after 1943 .
