Lagoa da Lomba ( Portuguese for "lake on the hill", also Caldeira Lomba ) is a 3.5 hectare, 15 m deep crater lake in the east of the central mountainous region of the Portuguese Azores island of Flores . It is located in the Lajes das Flores district below the Pico do Touro .
The lakeshore is surrounded by small groups of trees, willows and hydrangeas . The eutrophic lake itself is almost overgrown. The many aquatic plants do not allow swimming in it.
