Laima Bulotaitė

Laima Bulotaitė (* 1955 ) is a Lithuanian psychologist and professor at VU.

Life

After graduating from secondary school, Laima Bulotaitė studied and graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas in Vilnius with a diploma in psychology . She then worked at the Hygiene Institute and the Vilnius Addiction Center. In 1970 he received his doctorate on the subject of dynamic properties of sensory neurons ("Sensorinių neuronų dinaminės savybės") and became a candidate in biology. He taught her at the Vilniaus universitetas as a professor . Her research areas are health promotion and disease prevention, psychological aspects of addiction, health psychology , risky behavior.

From 2004 to 2006 she was President of the Psychological Association of Lithuania ( Lietuvos psichologų sąjunga ).
