Lambada (strawberry)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The strawberry variety Lambada is a very sweet strawberry that is very often well tolerated by allergy sufferers .

The fruit is very sweet, shiny red and relatively firm. The fruits, also known as gourmet strawberries, lose their taste quickly and should therefore be consumed quickly. The variety is a cross between Sivetta and Holiday.

The strawberry should be planted in dry and sunny locations in August. The individual plants should be at least 20 cm apart and rooted in loose soil. The fruits ripen in early summer when there is enough sun.
