State Justice Administration

The state justice administration is the body of a federal state of the Federal Republic of Germany , which is responsible for the administration of the justice. As a rule, it is the state ministry responsible for justice or the respective senator responsible for justice. Tasks of the state administration of justice can be delegated to the president of a higher regional court.

The state justice administration decides on the filling of judges' posts with judges and appoints them. It exercises administrative supervision over the judges.
