Jan Hendrik van Rossum du Chattel
Jan Hendrik van Rossum du Chattel (born February 13, 1820 in Leiden ; † July 12, 1878 there ) was a Dutch draftsman and genre painter from the Hague School .
Life
Jan Hendrik van Rossum du Chattel, born on February 13, 1820 in Leiden , studied first at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and then with Alexander Hugo Bakker Korff , a well-known Dutch genre painter .
His son was the well-known landscape painter Fredericus Jacobus van Rossum du Chattel .
Exhibitions
From 1843 to 1853 he had exhibitions in The Hague and Amsterdam .
