Landscape protection area Lüdenscheid type B
The Lüdenscheid type B landscape protection area with 164.13 hectares is located in the Märkischer Kreis in the area of the city of Lüdenscheid . It was designated in 2001 by the district council of the Märkischer Kreis with the landscape plan No. 3 Lüdenscheid as a landscape protection area (LSG) of type B (special landscape protection). The LSG goes to the edge of the settlement.

Protection purpose
The designation was carried out to maintain, develop or restore the efficiency and functionality of the natural balance or the regenerative and sustainable usability of natural assets, including the protection of habitats and habitats. Legal regulations
In the LSG, among other things, the erection of buildings is prohibited. Furthermore, first afforestation and the new planting of Christmas tree cultures, ornamental branches and tree nursery cultures outside the forest are prohibited. Grassland and non-agricultural areas must not be turned into arable land.
