The landscape protection area Landschaftsteile in the area of the municipality Leerhafe (Eichenwald) is a landscape protection area in the district of Wittmund in the state of Lower Saxony . It bears the number LSG WTM 00015. As the lower nature conservation authority, the district of Wittmund is responsible for the area.
Description of the area
The protected landscape area, designated in 1947, covers an area of 0.006 square kilometers and is located south of the center of Leerhafe , a district of Wittmund.
Protection purpose
The general protection purpose is the "preservation and development of a natural, species-rich forest parcel". In order to ensure the protection sufficiently, the district proposes a protection status as a protected landscape component.
