Lantek is a company that develops software solutions for customers in the sheet metal and steel industry in the areas of CAD (“Computer Aided Design”) , CAM (“Computer Aided Manufacturing”) and ERP (“Enterprise Resource Planning”) .

Lantek was founded in Spain in 1986 . The company's headquarters are in Vitoria-Gasteiz , near Bilbao . The company currently has more than 18,000 customers in more than 100 countries around the world, including around 900 in Germany . Lantek is the world's leading provider of CAD / CAM and ERP solutions that are not proprietary software from cutting and punching machine manufacturers and can therefore control systems from different providers from one user interface.

Products

Lantek Expert is a 2-D CAD / CAM software.
Lantek Flex3d is a 3-D CAD / CAM software.
Lantek Integra and Lantek Steelworks are ERP software solutions. Lantek Steelworks has, among other things, an interface to BIM software ("Building Information Modeling") . This means that complete parts lists of steel components for buildings can be imported, cut and labeled.

There are also other programs such as Lantek Manager for checking machine utilization or Lantek Wos at the machine workstation , some of which are integrated into the other software packages.

Lantek software can control laser, oxy-fuel, water jet and plasma cutting and punching machines. With the CAD / CAM software, shapes can be imported or redrawn. The programs arrange the geometries in such a way that there is as little residual material as possible. The data is then converted into CNC code and processed by the machines. Lantek's ERP systems also allow the commercial management of sheet metal and steel companies, for example with modules for preparing offers and tracking orders.

Worldwide presence

Lantek has offices in 15 countries around the world and sales partners in numerous other countries. The branch for Germany, Austria , German-speaking Switzerland and the Netherlands is located in Darmstadt . The company currently employs 15 people there who support customers, for example, with telephone support, remote maintenance, webinars and on-site service.
