The Larbido is a saber from Java .

description

The Larbido has a curved, single-edged blade. The blade widens from the handle to the location . The back of the blade and the cutting edge are s-shaped. The blade is usually made of pamor steel (similar to Damascus steel ). The hilt is made of wood or horn and has a short metal crossguard . The knob area is bent towards the cutting edge and the knob itself is rounded. The Larbido is very similar to the Larbango , but the blade of the Larbido is narrower and lighter. The Larbido is used by ethnic groups from Java.
