Latvijas Avīze (dt. Latvian newspaper ) is one of the highest circulation daily newspapers in Latvia with a daily circulation of 33,240 copies.

The first edition, then still called "Lauku Avīze" (dt. Land-Zeitung) appeared in 1987.

The newspaper positions itself as national conservative democratic and is read a lot in the country. The publisher, the joint stock company Lauku Avīze, also publishes other weekly or monthly journals, for example on agriculture or horticulture .
