Latvijas Reģionu apvienība ( German  Latvian Regional Alliance or Latvian Federation of Regions ) is a centrist party in Latvia .

history

The party was founded on March 13, 2014 (as a merger of the Reģionu alianse and Vidzemes partija ).

Chairman was Mārtiņš Bondars selected. To the board were Ilgonis Leišavnieks from the Vidzemes partija and Dainis Liepiņš from the Regionu alianse selected. In March 2014 it had around 700 members.

The party ran for the first time in the 2014 elections to the European Parliament, where it achieved 2.49% of the vote, but failed to pass the 5% hurdle. When she took part in the parliamentary elections in Latvia for the 12th Saeima in 2014 for the first time , she immediately won 8 out of 100 seats in the Latvian parliament with Bondars as prime ministerial candidate. In the next election in 2018 , the party suffered losses, only got 4.2 percent and thus no longer moved into parliament.
