Laurentian Trench

Coordinates: 43 ° 40 ′ 0 ″  N , 56 ° 10 ′ 0 ″  W The Laurentian Trench is a deep place in the Atlantic Ocean east of Canada . It is about 6000 m deep. Although it is not a deep sea channel in the geological sense, the Laurentian Trench is one of the deepest places in the Atlantic. The moat was formed by glacial activity and water currents from the St. Lawrence River.
