The Lawrence Academy at Groton (also Lawrence Academy or as LA called) is a private American high school in Groton in Massachusetts .

It was founded by Samuel Lawrence during 1793 and is one of the oldest schools in the country. The Lawrence Academy accepts around 375 students annually, the student-to-lecturer ratio is 7: 1 with an average class size of 14 students. The current principal is D. Scott Wiggins.
