Le Parisien is the largest Parisian daily newspaper and is published by the Les Échos-Le Parisien press group , which has been part of the listed LVMH group since 2015 .

Together with the nationwide Aujourd'hui en France , the circulation is over 500,000 copies. It is therefore not as widespread as the Bild newspaper in Germany. Le Parisien is often rated as a regional newspaper, although its circulation, including Aujourd'hui en France, exceeds that of L'Équipe (same publishing group as Le Parisien ), Le Monde , Le Figaro or Liberation . At the same time, like the other newspapers mentioned, it is considered a leading medium . The EPA (Éditions Philippe Amaury ) press group also includes the Amaury Sport Organization (ASO), which organizes the Tour de France and other important sporting events.
