Le Templais

Le Templais is a French semi-hard cheese made from cow's milk .

The cheese, which comes from the Aquitaine region in southwest France , is available in different flavors. These are the Templais Cadet , the Templais Fleuron and the Templais Tendre . Depending on the variety, these ripen for different times : Le Templais Tendre ripens for three months, Le Templais Cadet requires four months of ripening, while Le Templais Fleuron ripens for twelve months. The latter is similar to Italian parmesan , but is softer and milder.
