Food company

According to European law, the term food company includes all companies that carry out an activity related to the production , processing and distribution of food . It does not matter whether the companies are geared towards making a profit or whether they are public or private companies.

Food companies have to observe the standards of food law , namely food safety and food hygiene, and they are subject to official food control .
