Lecoro test

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lecoro test is mainly used to examine firefighters for their fitness for duty. This is an extension of the Conconi test . The acronym stands for Le utenegger, Co nconi and Ro thrist. Dr. med. Frank Leutenegger developed this test at the end of the 20th century together with the Rothrist fire brigade .

The Lecoro test examines the following characteristics (although not all of them are necessarily determined in each test):

The Lecoro test is concluded with a conversation (usually carried out by Dr. Leutenegger personally), in which the individual fitness is discussed and a training recommendation is made to improve performance. The fire brigade then receives a detailed list of the values determined, and his fire brigade receives a notification as to whether the respiratory protection is still suitable or not.
