Leezdorf Mill

The Leezdorfer Mühle is the landmark of Leezdorf in East Frisia . Around 1873 the first, probably a "coke mill", was built.

In 1895, however, the wind was her undoing and she blew away. The current mill, built between 1896 and 1897 and a gallery Dutchman , has been restored in recent years. Today it presents the permanent exhibition "Old Customs". A tea kitchen has also been set up for visitors.

The Heimatverein Leezdorf, which carried out the restoration in-house, was awarded 3rd place for outstanding achievements in the field of monument protection in the Weser-Ems region .
