Lega Italiana Protezione Uccelli (LIPU) (German: Italian Association for the Protection of Birds ) is an Italian association for nature and bird protection based in Parma .

It was founded in 1965. Around 30,000 supporters are involved in 18 regional branches and around 100 local groups. The organization is a partner of BirdLife International .
