Armchair method

The term armchair method describes a method in which the respective scientist , figuratively speaking, does not leave his armchair in order to conduct science . Instead, he assesses the data with which he has to work from there, or lets others describe it to him. In fact, the armchair method can be helpful for an initial assessment.
