Paramedic
Teaching paramedics are in Austria paramedics, according to paramedics law, in the training of rescue and emergency paramedics are employed. In addition to technical and pedagogical aptitude, the paramedic must meet the following requirements: completed training as a paramedic at the level to be taught, at least two years of practical experience in the respective field of activity and completion of 40 hours of relevant advanced training within 5 years. Beyond that, there are no statutory provisions regarding training as a paramedic. This is handled differently by the rescue organizations.
