The 9th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships should take place between February 12 and February 13, 2020 in the Chinese city of Hangzhou , which would have been the venue for the indoor championships for the third time after 2012 and 2014.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the championship was canceled by the Asian Athletics Association on January 26, 2020 .
