Association of German medal makers
The performance association of German medal makers (LDO) was founded in 1941 (seat: Hagen ). For the producers of military orders, decorations and medals organized in it , the distribution of orders, the allocation of raw materials and the uniform quality of the products should be organized.
The LDO used its own system of coded manufacturer information on its products. All of the companies combined in it were assigned two identifiers: a Reich Chancellery delivery number and an LDO number, which were only applied to military badges and should not be confused with the Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) or German production marks .
