Lena's Ranch is a 52-part French-German 2D / 3D animation series from 2013 that ended in 2016.

content

Lena's beloved horse Zabou dies. Lena never wants to ride again. One night she finds a distraught, frightened horse that is wanted by dubious men. She hides the horse and gives the stallion the name Mistral.

After Lena & her friends Anna, Angelo & Nico have made Lena's grandfather's old ranch animal-friendly, the horse whisperer gets permission from her father Bruno to keep Mistral. This is followed by exciting adventures that Lena & her friends Nico, Anna and Angelo experience on their horse ranch. They like to compete as a team with their horses. The four also have to exist in love and friendship. Angelo with the acrobatic Sila, Nico with the hungry caramel, Lena of course with her stallion Mistral and Anna with the adventurous Josephine.

Production and publication

The production was done by ARD, Télé Images Kids & the production company was Hessischer Rundfunk. Directed by Monica Maaten .

The title song Léna Parle aux Cheavaux , which means “Lena speaks to horses”, was composed and sung by Christophe Maé / Felipe Salvida. There were 52 episodes broadcast in 2 seasons. The German premiere took place on August 19, 2013.
