Leoben Basin

The Leoben Basin (also Leobner Basin ) is an inner alpine valley section of the Mur north of Leoben in Styria . The basin is divided into the Seegraben basin and the Tollinggraben basin by a saddle . It has a maximum depth of 400 meters.

The Leoben Basin belongs to the Mur-Mürz-Furche and is a Neogene Basin of the Miocene .
